Ron Paul is the only candidate that makes sense voting for, he is for everything we as a people stand for. He been proven in his words, while sometimes misquoted, steady and constant all the same. A vote for any other candidate would be like a cow voting for a butcher. I see a glimpse of hope with Ron Paul. And if some of you who are already pissed at me and swelling with anger over your own veiws then you should consider him as your choice for this reason alone: He only stands for facts, Ron Paul does not have opinions, he states facts, so many of your choices have views on this, views on that, never constant, never tried, damned to fail in the end. If he is the one that makes sense in voting for he would have won in Iowa and NH. He is very far behind in the polls. He won’t even get the GOP nomination.

On The Situation Room on CNN today, Wolf Blitzer interviewed Democratic Party Chair Howard Dean, asking him how important it was for the Democratic candidates for president to distinguish themselves from one another. His answer may have provided a little insight about how he believes the Democrats could lose in the general election.

Dean answered the question by saying that it’s not important to highlight the differences among the Democrats, but rather that the key is to distinguish between the Democratic Party’s candidates and the Republican candidates. He stated that every single Democratic candidate opposes the current president’s war in Iraq, but that all of the “10 or 11 Republicans in the race” support the war. This “fact,” Dean asserted, virtually guaranteed Democrats greater popular support since a very obvious majority of Americans also oppose the president’s war in Iraq.

Wolf Blitzer, however, corrected Howard Dean on his statement. Blitzer noted that Congressman Ron Paul has consistently opposed the War in Iraq, to which Dean explained that Ron Paul is “not a Republican.” In Dean’s words, Ron Paul is a Libertarian. Blitzer, once again, corrected Dean stating that Paul is running for the Republican nomination. This time, Dean brushed off the correction.

Considering that 74% of American adults consider the war to be going either somewhat badly or very badly and the number one issue for Americans is the war in Iraq, Ron Paul–as a legitimate antiwar conservative–is the only Republican that threatens to severely undermine the advantage that the Democrats have over the Republicans in general.

No wonder Howard Dean would prefer to ignore him.

Pluto, you are severely underestimating Ron Paul’s support. Meetup.com has presidential candidate groups in every city, and i live in houston, where only two candidates have meetup groups, hillary and ron paul. Ron Paul has almost 300 members, and an average of 3 people join every day. Hillary has 8 members, last time I checked.
I don’t believe the polls. They are skewed against him, because many of his biggest supporters are independents, and they only poll registered GOP members.
cornswalled, get a grip. Go look up “conservatism” on Wikipedia. And then go look at Ron Pauls stances on the issues. Then come back here and you will be taken seriously.

Howard Dean was a huge long-shot until he came out against the war and became hugely popular.

I think Ron Paul will appeal to anti-war Republicans, who are growing in number.

But Dean did not stand for something nearly as well or clearly as Ron Paul.

Cinderfella was conflicted. He was a woman trapped in a man’s body. He loved dressing like a princess, and felt that he made at least a passable one. Most of the time he could fool people into believing he was a real princess, but there were other times when things had gone badly wrong. Like the time he had had a wardrobe malfunction. He had gone for a stroll the previous autumn in his newest ball gown. There had been a strong wind that day. As he began crossing a bridge a backdraft had come up, exposing his not-so-dainty underdrawers. It had created such a stir that he had been forced to move to another village.

He had been in his new home in the province of San Francisco for a few weeks now, and he felt free to try the Cinderella man persona again. Whether there were angels or demons in this town, he had convinced himself that there would be happy days ahead. Shortly after his move, a decree was issued by King Arnold and Queen Maria Schwarzenegger. Their son Howard was of marriageable age and they were anxious for him to find a bride. Howard was astonishingly ugly, but he did have a beautiful mind.

Cinderfella readied himself for the ball. With his platinum wig and Marilyn Monroe look-alike dress, he was truly stunning. Howard took one look at him and fell head over heels in love. They danced most of the night away in bliss. But as midnight neared, Cinderfella experienced another wardrobe crisis. He had fixed the problem of the ugly underdrawers and had bought some feminine ones. But, he had miscalculated his bra size. As he jitterbugged with Howard, one of his… er… prosthetic bosoms began to slide from beneath his… well, you know. Cinderfella was horrified. Afraid of being exposed (no pun intended), he blew Howard a kiss and fled the scene. But as he ran away, one of his size 13 glass slippers fell off. Poor Howard was devastated! When your lover leaves that abruptly, there has to be a compelling reason. Between the dark and the daylight he searched the city for Cinderfella, but to no avail.

The next day, he sent his messenger out with the slipper to find its owner. The man was a door to door maniac, pounding and shouting “OPEN UP!!” at every door he came to. After many hours, he came to Cinderfella’s humble cottage. He tried the crystal clodhopper on her foot, and, of course it fit. The messanger rode swiftly back to the castle to report the news.

Howard and Cinderfella were married the following Sunday amidst great fanfare and celebration. It took Howard a few years to realize that Cinderfella was really a man. But Howard forgave him. His heart was as kind as his mind was beautiful. Eventually, they adopted all of the local orphans. This made Arnie and Maria very happy, because they were in favor of large families. Everyone learned to jitterbug, Howard got permanent implants, and they all lived happily ever after.

It looks boss, I think it’s a chevy but not sure what year/model or what’s under the hood? I think Toad says in the movie the cubic inch size and that it was a six cylinder? Also, is the Pharoahs ‘chop top’ a ’32 Mercury? What a cool car that is too. Also the year Ford police car that had the rear end ripped out? Was that a Galaxy? Great movie. Pretty accurate too since I didn’t see any mustangs in the movie. The movie was shot for circa ’62 and the mustang came out in ’64? I saw a ’56 effie pickup (I’m restoring a ’55 f100) a ’60 white falcon station wagon (I have a ’63) and a cool Edsel in the movie. Awesome cars, I wish I grew up in my Dad’s time.

There have been a lot of stars supporting Barack, but this video caught my attention because not only was it entertaining and funny, but the person who showed it to me was a card carrying KKK member and I found that to be interesting. I am sure he thought that he was showing me a video that was negative….too bad he did not bother to look at the whole thing….how stupid. That racial hatred sure can make you do some dumb things and as soon as I find a link to it, I will be sending it out to all Barack Obama fans.
